Kathy Conlee-Cockerell

Kathy Conlee-Cockerell, 63, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, of Granbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until Noon, Thursday, March 17, at the Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 East, in Granbury. Graveside services will follow at 12:30, Thursday, March 17 at Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury.
Kathy was born on August 30, 1958, in Wellington, Texas to Robert and Geneva Hoffman. She was known to have a heart as big as Texas and was always putting others before herself. She was affectionately known as “Meme” by those she loved the most. Kathy enjoyed quilting, was an excellent baker and looked forward to making Christmas candy for the community. She was featured in Western Horseman magazine, received a full scholarship to Frank Phillips Community College for livestock judging, where she was also featured on the cover of the College recruiting brochure. She worked for the Arizona Department of Transportation and was a graduate of the Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Adrian Cockerell; her son Chad and wife Sidra Conlee, daughter Casey Conlee and fiancé Joe Bragg, and daughter Maria and husband Wade Axmann. She is also survived her 11 grandchildren, Skyler, Tyler, Blake, Riley, MacKynzee, Deryk, Greyson, Ace, Austin, Alex and Harper.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her son, Monte Don Conlee in 1980; and by her first husband, Donnie Conlee in 2016.
Pallbearers are Adrian Cockerell, Chad Conlee, Joe Bragg, JC Carroll, Skyler Conlee and Wade Axmann.
