June C. Reichman, age 96, formerly of Uhrichsville, died peacefully, Saturday, February 26, 2022, while in the care of Brewster Parke Nursing Home at Brewster.
Born in Zanesville, Ohio on May 21, 1925, June was a daughter of the late Ray and Harriett Freeman Spinks.
For many years she served as the Housekeeping Supervisor at Brewster Parke and attended the Uhrichsville Church of God. June also enjoyed playing cards, watching TV, making trips to the casino, vacationing, and playing the lottery.
She is survived by her children, Judith Crothers of Newark, Harriett (Douglas) Cox, Linda (Terry) Correll, Beverly Miller all of Dover, Audrey Cottrell of Dennison, Robert “Buck” (Dawn) Cottrell of Uhrichsville and Ray Cottrell of Dennison; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Reichman.
A memorial visitation will take place on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A graveside service, led by Pastor Aaron Linard will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 1:00 PM in Union Cemetery at Uhrichsville.
