June B. Pace

June B. Pace, 79, of Hendersonville, died Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Life Care Center of Hendersonville.

A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Grover C. Burrell and Arrie B. Burrell.  June is also preceded in death by four brothers, Roy R. Burrell, Fred D. Burrell, Charles C. Burrell, and Robert W. Burrell; and four sisters, Pauline B. McAbee, Nina B. Pace, Geneva Burrell, and Carolyn B. Stepp.

She was in the inaugural graduating class of East Henderson High School in 1961.  June was of the Baptist faith and a pianist and homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Vincent L. Pace; and a devoted daughter, Joyce “Elaine” Pace-Reed and her husband Joel B. Reed of Summerville, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Mitchell officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
