She was preceded in death by her parents.
Judith was born on Jan. 16, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Clement and Mildred Meyer Trainor. She graduated from Regis High School in 1964.
While in high school, Judy met and eventually married the love of her life, Joe. Together, they raised three children and took care of many newborn babies waiting to be adopted by loving parents. She dedicated her life to taking care of others, whether it was by planning gatherings, volunteering or attending school or sporting events for her kids and grandkids. She especially loved a good party! She traveled throughout the county by Amtrak, giving her ample opportunity to meet new people along the way.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, 315 18th Ave., Hiawatha, IA 52233; or Families Helping Families of Iowa, 6000 Seventh St. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
