JORDAN MICHAEL LEE NELSON –
Jordan Nelson, age 29 of Shabbona, IL passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday November 29, 2022. He brought joy to this world as the son of Terry and Jeanne Nelson on June 23, 1993.
Jordan graduated from Indian Creek High School and received his Associates in Science from College of DuPage. He was a hard worker with a strong passion for anatomy and healing; however knew he could excel at anything, from travel and carpentry to EoLC and management. Jordan was a free and creative soul who believed in living each day the way you wanted as long as you were pursuing happiness. His outgoing personality meant he was always the first to start playing a game, being a magnet for everyone else to join, especially frisbee, frothing, Xbox and the infamous cabinet game. Anyone who knew Jordan knew he was a source of positivity, always putting others before himself. He adored all of his family and friends.
Jordan is deeply loved and survived by one grandmother, mother Jeanne Nelson of Shabbona, IL; father Terry Nelson of Dekalb, IL; 5 siblings, Cristine(Kevin) Gasiorowski of Batavia, IL, Katherine Nelson of Tenants Harbor, ME, Sarah (James) McAllister of Shabbona, IL, Ashley Nelson (Josh Anaya) of Austin, TX, Ehren Nelson of Shabbona, IL; his close nephew Mateo Valenzuela of Shabbona and best friends Donald Douglas of Lombard, IL, William Herber of Lee, IL and Nichole Mucha of Elmhurst, IL. He is also loved by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
A visitation will be held from 1pm – 4pm on Sunday December 4, 2022 at Nelson Funeral Home – 1001 E. Garfield St Waterman, IL 60556
Church service will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday December 6, 2022 at Holy Cross Catholic Church – 2300 Main St Batavia, IL 60510
