Jon P. “Jack” Burke, 81, of Iowa City, Iowa passed away on May 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with melanoma.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Elks Club on Friday, May 30, on the Patio from 3-6 p.m. A private family burial will be held on Saturday, May 31, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Iowa City.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family would like to support the Melanoma Research Fund at Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the UI Hospitals and Clinics.
