Johnny Bryan Russell

Johnny Bryan Russell, 67, of Hendersonville, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the Elizabeth House, after a brief illness.  He was born in Henderson County to the late Ridgeway and Rose Russell.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Russell.

Johnny loved his family and his dogs, snowball, and arcadia.  He is survived by his daughters, Christy Wilkins and husband Dwayne of Hendersonville, Melony Russell of Hendersonville, and Tasha Russell of Spartanburg; sons, Chris Russell of Hendersonville, and Bryan Russell and wife Heather of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Colton Worley, Keanu Brown, Keenan Wilkins, Addison Russell, Kinsley Russell, Mellah Allen, Hallie Mazzeo, Malek Russell, Mallorie Suggs, Dasha Norman, Tyler Rogers, Ashlyn Russell, and Emberlynn Rose Russell; great-grandchild Mehki Cohen; sisters, Melba Bell of Hendersonville, Sandy Nix of Hendersonville, Kathy Simpson of Hendersonville, and Teke Swartzel of Michigan; special niece Kim Gibbs and several nieces and nephews.
