John “Jack” Ford
John “Jack” Ford, age 87, of Chicago. Beloved son of the late Homer and Marjorie, nee Sheehan, Ford. Dear brother to Margaret Schorsch, the late Edmund Maddock, the late Marylore Dolan, nee Maddock, and the late Rev. Laurence Maddock. Dear friend of Agnes Piszczek. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jack was a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Fulbright Scholar at the Sorbonne. He was an Industrial Designer with Loewy-Snaith and other firms and a longstanding Parish Administrator of St. Ita’s Catholic Church.
A visitation will be held Monday, November 29, 2021 at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Chicago IL from 3:00-8:00PM. A funeral mass will be Tuesday, November 30, at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N. Sauganash Ave. Chicago IL at 10:00am. Friends are invited to meet at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hillside IL at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Maryville Academy in Des Plaines, Illinois or to Glessner House in Chicago, Illinois.
