Joan Welch
Joan Welch passed away peacefully at 7:40pm November 29th, 2021. Aunt Jo, as most people who knew her, went to be with the Lord at the age of 88. Joan was born August 4th, 1933, in Kenton Tennessee to Richard Evert Hendrix and Minnie Baucom Hendricks. She is preceded in death by husband Billy Dean Welch, her parents, and siblings Juana Mae Elvington, Richard Fred Hendrix, Rose Mary Taylor.
Joan was a loving caregiver to all. She never had any children of her own but took care of many. She was everyone’s favorite. She loved and cared for so many people. Her mission in life was to love others and share the love of Jesus Christ. Joan’s home was open to all at any hour of the day or night. She was there to listen, feed you and just love you. Aunt Jo was the safe place for many and her love was contagious. She will truly be missed.
Viewing will be held at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, TX from 6-8 pm, Friday, December 3, 2021 and the Graveside Service will be at Greenwood Funeral Home in Fort Worth at 1pm, Saturday, December 4, 2021.
