Joan Ellen Blair

Joan Ellen Blair, 84, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at her home. She was born March 16, 1937, in Springfield, the daughter of Walter and Lillian (Bartlett) Montgomery. She married Jesse A. Blair on January 28, 1956 and he preceded her in death in 2007.

Also preceding her in death are her parents and sister, Bernadine Etter.

Survivors include three children, Jesse J. (fiancé: Tammy Bloodworth), Randall R. (Cynthia) Blair, Sr. and Tracey K. Blair, all of Springfield; six grandchildren, Melissa Ann Skelton, Melissa L. O’Bryan, Timothy J. Wagoner, Randall (fiancé: Lisa Shaw) Blair, Jr., Nicole (fiancé: Scott Robinson) Blair, and Danielle K. (Matthew) Williams; eight great-grandchildren, Ryan R. and Isabella Blair, Kaylee Young, Dawn Marie Ray, Bradey Blair, Cohen Robinson, Benson M. Williams, and Brady Shaw; one niece, Dava Lynn and one nephew, Steve Etter.

Joan belonged to East Keyes Baptist Church. She graduated in 1955 from Feitshans High School. Joan provided for her family as a homemaker.

Graveside Service: 11 am, Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Dan Hillard officiating.
