Jewel Maxine Isom

JEWEL M. ISOM, age 74, passed away peacefully October 29, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born May 22, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee to Wylodean Tyler and Jewel Clayton Holt (both precede her in death). Jewel spent most of her early childhood in Nashville later moving to Richmond, Indiana.  Jewel eventually moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she met and married Charles Isom in 1973. To this union was born Brian Levell (Noreen) Isom, to join his big sister, April Lynn Holt. Jewel was a dedicated family woman raising her children as a working wife and mother. Her various careers included working for the State of Ohio, Cleveland State University, Sysco Foods and Howard Hanna realtors. Jewel’s husband of 42 years, Charles preceded her in death in 2016 and Jewel is survived by her daughter April Lynn, her son Brian Levell (Noreen), and her sister Edna L. Holt, her grandchildren Dyoni, Dominique, Destany, Daenerys and Damien, and loving family, relatives and friends.
