Jason Daniel Oberbreckling, 45, of Coggon, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. He was born on Feb. 13, 1977, in Manchester, the son of Daniel and Linda (Gates) Oberbreckling. Jason attended East Buchanan Schools and graduated in 1995. While growing up Jason often worked with his dad and after high school began working full time in the family business, Dan Oberbreckling Concrete and Excavating.
Jason enjoyed construction, mechanic work and building engines. He loved mud racing and snowmobiling. Jason especially loved spending time with his kids and other family members.
Survivors include his four children, Daden (Shelby) Oberbreckling of Coggon, Jayce (Stormie) Oberbreckling of Coggon, Ella Oberbreckling and Kasten Oberbreckling, both of Garnavillo; his father, Daniel Oberbreckling of Coggon; his girlfriend, Vicki Kress of Winthrop; three siblings, Angela (Jeremy) Faust of Coggon, Bernie (Stacey) Oberbreckling of Coggon and Melinda (Brian) Bildstein of Ryan; three nephews, Otto Oberbreckling, Jacob Faust and Braxton Bildstein; and many friends and other family members.
Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Oberbreckling; and a friend who was like a brother, Dorsey Wilson.

Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Troy Mills Christian Church in Troy Mills, with Pastor Don McGarvey officiating.
Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.
Interment: Coggon Cemetery, Coggon.
