Janie Elizabeth Ledbetter Morgan

Janie Elizabeth Ledbetter Morgan, 67, of Saluda, NC, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Advent Health.  Janie was born in Tuxedo, NC, to the late Tom and Ruth Gordon Ledbetter.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Morgan.

Janie graduated from Saluda High School as Valedictorian and was of the Baptist faith.  She worked for Forest Lawn Memorial Park for 35 years.  Janie loved being with her family, fishing with the love of her life, camping, playing basketball with her grandchildren, and weekend jeep trips.  She loved her job and helping others with the loss of their loved ones.

She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Rachelle Swain and her husband William of NE, Regina Ann Morgan of Saluda; grandsons, the pride of her life, Hunter, and Landon; sisters, Kathy Summey and her husband Bruce of Saluda and Carolyn Killian of TN; brothers, Tommy Ledbetter and his wife Cindy of Saluda, Wayne Ledbetter and his wife Javeen of Hendersonville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at two o’clock p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Stanley Adcock officiating.  Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
