Janet Palmer Dietrich

Beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister Janet Palmer Dietrich, 55, entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, September 20,2022 in Fort Worth. She was born December 15,1966 in Dallas to Robert and Evelyn Carson Palmer.

 

Janet was a graduate of Bryan Adams High School in Dallas and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Texas in 1989. Janet’s faith in the resurrected Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, was the central hallmark of her life. She met David at church, who became her husband. They were together for thirty years.

 

Janet worked most recently at the Stephenville Independent School District in Texas as a special needs aide. She was loved by many students and coworkers. She later became an avid gardener and spent long hours creating a large garden with rock paths at her home in Bluff Dale, Texas. She also cherished her participation in many bible studies and prayer groups.

 

Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Palmer.

 

She is survived by her husband of thirty years, David Dietrich; two sons, Matthew Dietrich and Trent Dietrich; father, Robert Palmer; sister, Sharon Farmer; nephew, Jake Farmer and wife Emerald; cousins, Joni Rios, Fred Held, Karen Heckman and Harry Brodnax; aunt and uncle, Ruby and Fred Held, Sr.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Barbara and Richard Williams; brothers-in-laws and sister-in-law, Doug Dietrich, Madeline Dietrich, Norman Dietrich and Steve Dietrich.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm. Tuesday, September 27,2022 at Bluff Dale Baptist Church, 425 Glenn Street, Bluff Dale, TX. 76433. With burial following at Glenn Cemetery in Bluff Dale.

Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 12pm-1pm. Tuesday prior to the service.

    I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I was a friend of Janet’s from high school/college youth group at Scofield and then later in the singles group at Fellowship. She was such a lovely person and a good friend and will be greatly missed.
