Jack L. Gregory longtime resident of Hurst, Texas passed away in Salem, Oregon on July 9, 2022, he was 88. Jack was born on July 21, 1933 in Maypearl, Texas. His parents were Marshal Gregory and Eva Miller.
He was a US Army veteran (1953-1956) and served in the 2nd Infantry during the Korean War while stationed out of Fort Lewis in Washington. While residing in Hurst he was a longtime owner of West Park Electronics, a TV and electronics sales/service shop in Arlington. He spent 30 years coaching and as commissioner in Tri Cities Baseball. Later in life he lived in De Cordova Bend golf community. Jack was a true Texan but in 2020 he followed his sweetheart, Gloria Lindell to live in Salem, Oregon.
Jack was predeceased by his parents and his former spouse Bobbye J. Gregory.
In Texas, Jack leaves behind two sisters Evelyn Warwick and Homerene Schnittger, his three sons Gary (Lisa), Russell (Michelle) and Kyle (Sunday), nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In Oregon, Gloria and her daughters Kim, Shelly and Rhonda who we can’t thank enough for filling Jack’s last years with much love and laughter.
Memorial service will take place at Wiley Funeral Home, 400 E Hwy 377, Granbury TX 817-573-3000 on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM with a gathering from 10:00 AM until service time.
