Izabella “Bella” Hope Denny
Shellsburg
Izabella “Bella” Hope Denny, a beloved granddaughter, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024 at the age of 13. Bella was born healthy on July 18, 2011, to Chris and Rachel Morton-Denny.
Due to a tragic car accident when she was only 22 months old Bella sustained irreversible injuries. She lived the remainder of her life with quadriplegia and fully ventilator dependent.
Despite all the hardships and obstacles she faced in her short life, she was always happy and smiling. Bella loved life, her community, her family and her “kids” (friends).
Like in her middle name suggests Bella gave us HOPE. She inspired everyone she met and touched the lives of her entire community.
Bella was survived by her dad Chris, her bonus mom Christina, her brother Isiah and her bonus sisters Katherine, Ellie, Belle and Hannah. Her paternal grandparents Randy and Becky, Maternal grandfather Doug (Nancy) and bonus grandparents Bruce and Marilyn, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends who will miss her every day. Bella was preceded in death by her mother Rachel, and her maternal grandmother Pam.
If you would like to hear Bella’s full story please follow her Facebook page Hope for Bella.
