Ivan Karacic, age 87, of Lincolnwood, Illinois. Beloved husband to Iva (nee Primorac) for 64 wonderful years. Devoted father to the late Karmila (Zivko) Knezovic and Karlo (Theresa) Karacic. Cherished “Dedo” to Kristina (Ivan) Jurkovic, Adriana (Jago) Vasilj, Nicole and Michael Karacic. Adored great grandfather to Branko, Kamila, Jana, and Vida. Dear brother to Karlo (Dragica) Karacic, Iva (late Ivan) Maric, and Zora (Hrvoje) Zovko. Fond uncle to Mara (Edward) Cooper, Jadranka (Ronald) Signoretto, and Marko (Andreana) Karacic, their children and many nieces and nephews in Hercegovina. Ivan was an extraordinary man of unwavering faith. His selflessness, strength, and gentle spirit will be missed by all those who loved him. Pokoj vjecni daruj mu gospodine. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 6, at St. Jerome Croatian Catholic Church, 2823 S Princeton Ave, Chicago, IL from 9:30-11:00AM. The funeral mass will begin at 11:00AM.
