Inez Rose DuVall

Inez Rose (Ginz) DuVall, age 88 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, after a brief illness. She was born on December 5, 1932 in Urbana, IL the daughter of Arthur and Lois (Mechling) Ginz.
Inez was united in marriage on May 17, 1953 to Mr. James W. DuVall and they spent the next 65 years happily together until his passing in 2018. Inez was a long time member of Harvest New Beginnings Church in Oswego, IL. She was formerly employed for 20 years by Sears, Roebuck & Co. until her retirement. Inez was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, James (Charlene) DuVall, Jr. of Macomb, IL and Clara (Steve) Putnam of Springtown, TX; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, along with her sister, Jane (Lanny) Burke of Eureka, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Lois Ginz; and husband, James W. DuVall.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street in Yorkville, IL with Pastor Scott Poling officiating. Interment will follow in the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Aurora, IL.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral home in Yorkville, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Harvest New Beginnings Church (atharvest.church).
