Iansin Miska

Iansin Miska, age 53, of Tampa, Florida, passed away at his residence following a brief illness on Wednesday, October 06, 2021.  Born in Pohnpei in Micronesia on April 25, 1968, he was the son of the late Natchuo and Adehla Pahingal Miske.

Iansin, who enjoyed watching football, fishing, and playing pool with his family and friends, was an employed of Bush Gardens Tampa Bay for over 20 years.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Katsipa Mateak; two daughters, Dakai Miske and Kaycie Dikepa; one son, Able Miska; four sisters, Yumither Miske, Roslyn Miske, Adelyn Miske and Hellen Miske; and two brothers, Johnsin Miske and Kenson Miske.  Iansin is also survived by two nephews, Ben Miske and Juan Torres; and one niece, Linda Torres.

A celebration of Iansin’s life will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Hendersonville.  Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery in Asheville.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
