Hung Huy Nguyen, 94, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Visitation will be Saturday, January 11, 2025, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Luu Thi Pham, eight children and their families.
Hung Huy Nguyen was born March 17, 1930, in Phu Dong, Bac Ninh, Vietnam. He served in the ARVN for 27 years attaining the rank of Colonel.
The family are accepting flowers or memorial cards and would prefer no monetary donations.
