Herman Peterson
1928 – 2023

Maysville, Missouri……Herman Kenneth Peterson, age 95, was born July 31, 1928 in Britton, South Dakota, the son of Gotfred and Henrietta (Rasmussen) Peterson and passed away October 2, 2023. 

Sailing was a passion of Herman’s and he was a member of Lake Jacomo Sweet 16 Sailing Association.  Herman also enjoyed playing shuffleboard at America Outdoors in Fort Meyers, Florida where he lived.

He is preceded in death by his parents; long term partner Arlene Blaine; three sisters, Inez, Jean, and Elaine; and one brother, Dale.

Survivors include four children David Peterson, Danny (Drucie) Peterson, Denise (Greg) Martin, and Carrie (Craig) Lusker; one brother, Leo Peterson; and four grandchildren, Stephanie, Nathaniel, John, and Leah.

Cremation under the direction of Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville.  Memorial Services will be scheduled at a later date.
