Henry Carl Barnett

Carl Barnett, 82, of Mills River, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022.

Carl was born in Landrum, SC on Wednesday, February 28, 1940, to the late Willie Barnett and Natalie Orr Barnett.

Carl was a Machinist for DuPont for many years.  When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed hunting, farming, and wildlife care.

Carl is survived by his wife, Joyce Lance Barnett; daughters, Carla Fullam (Darryl) of Columbus, NC and Elana Carland of Mills River, NC; grandchildren, Victoria Carland of Mills River, NC, Alisha Carland of Mills River, NC, Caprice Fullam of Columbus, NC, and Ethan Fullam of Columbus, NC; great-granchild, Liliana Lopez of Mills River, NC; sister, Jean Belue of Charleston, SC; and brother, Tammie Barnett (Beverly) of Little River, NC.

The family will receive visitors for a memorial visitation at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mills River on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 3PM with a memorial service to follow at 4PM.  Rev. Ron Benzing is officiating.
