Helen “Eleni” Mouzakiotis, age 91, of Mundelein IL. Beloved wife of George Mouzakiotis for 67 wonderful years. Devoted mother to James (Louisa) Mouzakiotis, and Denise Mouzakiotis. Cherished “Yiayia” to Jared Klein, Kaydee (Alex) Wasserman, Lauren (Mark) Zajac, George Mouzakiotis, and Nicole Mouzakiotis. Adored great-grandmother to Noah and Sam. Dear sister to Dolly, Peter, the late Georgia, and the late Steve. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Beloved friend to many. Eleni loved to travel, was devoted the church and her faith, and volunteered at Condell Hospital for many years. She was also heavily involved with the Senior Synaxis Group at the church for many years. May her memory be eternal. A visitation will be held at Ascension of Our Lord Greek Orthodox Church, 1207 Riverwoods Rd. Lincolnshire, IL 60069 on January 5, 2021 from 10:30am-11:30am. There will be a limit of 10 attendees allowed in the church at one time. Attendees must wear a mask. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, funeral services after this visitation will be held privately.
