Harold Albert Westbrook, Jr.

Harold Albert Westbrook, Jr., 86, of Springfield, died at 6:57 am, Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Mill Creek. He was born on July 10, 1934 in Edinburg, IL to Harold Albert and Mildred (Pearson) Westbrook, Sr.

He is survived by three children, Janet Westbrook, Terri Westbrook Shafer and Shane Westbrook, all of Springfield; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Judy (Dave, deceased) Mann of Taylorville and Patricia (Richard) Gomez of Springfield and one brother, Bill (Linda) Westbrook of Taylorville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Harold retired from the Springfield Fire Department as Deputy Chief.

Graveside Service: 11:00 am, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Camp Butler National Cemetery where military honors will be conducted, and the Springfield Fire Department will conduct the Bell Ceremony.
