Harford Democrats announce new Central Committee members

The Harford County Democratic Central Committee has announced its newest members and officers: Rico Albacarys and Stacy Stone. They were selected from applications and interviews held on Dec. 20.

Logan Danker, Anthony Lyon and Bill Temmink also interviewed to fill the male vacancy opening. The Committee thought the three candidates each were impressive and welcomed all of them as associate members, according to a news release.

The Committee also elected officer roles. JoWanda Strickland-Lucas is now serving as the vice chair and Stone will serve as treasurer.

“All of our new members and associate members are exactly the kind of people we need to help lead the Committee,” said Sandy Gibbons, chair. “Our newest additions bring a variety of perspectives and experiences that will be crucial to electing Democrats up and down the ballot in Harford County.”

With the vacancies filled and additional newcomers, the Harford County Democratic Central Committee is now back at full strength, Gibbons said.
