Glenda “BoBo” Beddingfield Capps

Glenda “BoBo” Beddingfield Capps, 79, of Zirconia went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Pardee Hospital following a brief illness. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Jessie Beddingfield. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harley “Frank” Capps, Sr. in 2005 along with her sisters, JoAnn Anders and Mary McCall.
Glenda was a member of Mountain Valley Baptist Church and enjoyed working outside in her flowers. She loved her family greatly and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Glenda was loved deeply by her family and will be very much missed by all of them.
She is survived by her daughter, Gwen Head (Earl) of Zirconia; son, Harley Franklin Capps, Jr. (Deana) of Zirconia; grandchildren, Harley Franklin Capps III (Resa), Jordan Thomas (Josh), Ashley Bray (Tad), Tyler Capps (Lauren), Jessie Johnson (Austin), Chandler Capps and Karly Ellison (Josh); great-grandchildren, Levi and Lela Bray, Aisley, Everly and David Johnson, Harley and Laina Capps, Ransum and Cheyenne Capps, Jensyn and Judah Thomas; sisters, Shelba McCall, Loretta Osteen, Margaret Herman, Van Banks, and Terry Cole; brother, Mickey Beddingfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Mountain Valley Baptist Church with Pastor David Dickerson and Reverend Sam Beddingfield officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 1-2pm at the church. Burial will follow at Pearson Cemetery.
