Glen Lindsey

Glen Lindsey, 82, of Tuxedo, died Friday, April 16, 2021 at his home.

Glen also known as “Spider” was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County.  He was the son of the late Harvey and Laveda Mullinax Lindsey.  Glen is also preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Lindsey Nix and Virginia Lindsey Shipman Morgan.

He is a veteran of the US Army and a member of Tuxedo First Baptist Church.  Glenn retired after 34 years from DuPont.  He was a member of the Senior Softball League of Henderson County, an instrumental member of the GRCA, and a member of the Green River Volunteer Fire Department.

Glen is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Thelma Eugenia “Jeanna” Taylor Lindsey; two children, Bradford Lindsey (Christa) of Tallahassee, FL and Glenda Lindsey White (Brad) of Fleming Island, FL; three grandchildren, Nicholas White (Brenna), Brady Glen White, and Taylor White; two great-grandchildren, Maverick and Knox White; a brother, Harvey John “H. J.” Lindsey (Patricia); a close first cousin, Myrtis Capps; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Bennett officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
