Our beloved Mother, Georgia Lee (Justice) Stepp Dillon, was welcomed into the arms of her loving Savior Jesus Christ, on Thursday, March 18, 2021 following an extended illness. She was a much-loved sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Dillon; parents, Medus Justice and Estelle Justice and in recent years sister, Donna Holbert; brothers, Ronald Justice, Larry Justice, Micheal Justice, and Michael’s wife, Linda; two great grandchildren, Jose Vasquez, and Josiah Carson.
She leaves behind oldest daughter, Rebecca Dill; sons, Boyce (Butch) Stepp wife Kerrie Stepp, Martin Stepp and girlfriend, Susan Holbert and twins, Terry Stepp, and his fiancé, Harvetta Wilson and daughter, Merry Stepp. She is also survived by siblings, Patrica Krebs, Susan Ransom and husband, Bob, Linda Justice Martin and husband, Bruce, and Joyce Justice.
She was a loving grandmother to 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
A native of Hendersonville, N.C., Georgia was the first born in family of eight children and helped raise her younger brothers and sisters. She unselfishly gave her life to raising her children, by working hard as single mom to provide a loving home for them. She worked many years in the construction dept of Lowe’s in Hendersonville, where she retired. She had also worked at Builders First Choice. She was a devoted member of Words of Life Tabernacle in Arden, where a memorial service will be held at later date and will be announced.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, which was her favorite charity.
