George P. Musko, age 66 of Yorkville, IL passed away unexpectedly at Edwards Hospital in Naperville, IL on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He was born on June 29, 1955 in Royal Oak, MI the son of Michael and Nancy (Burns) Musko.
George was united in marriage on October 2, 1982 to Sharon Vodrazka and they spent the next 39 years happily together. Mr. Musko was a proud Veteran of the United States Marines Corps. He was employed for many years as foreman by the Village of Bolingbrook in Bolingbrook, IL. George was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
George is survived by his wife, Sharon Musko of Yorkville, IL; his daughter, Dana (Kyle) Lippold of Plano, IL; his siblings, Catherine (Tony) Tonyan of Yorkville, IL, Tom (Carrie) Musko of Plano, IL, and Joseph Musko of CA, and; also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Nancy Musko; as well as a niece.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL with Pastor Michael Neel officiating. Interment will then take place at 1:00 PM in the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
Friends may visit from 1:00 until 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
