Gavin L. Brandon

Gavin L. Brandon, 47, of Springfield died at 2:51 pm, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born on January 19, 1974 in Clare, MI to Gary and Roxy (Harsh) Brandon. He married Jacqueline Bierbaum on September 26, 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline of Springfield; five children, Grant Brandon of Beaverton, MI and Gage, Reese, Aiden and Jace Brandon, all of Springfield; mother, Roxy Brandon of Coleman, MI; two sisters, Janelle Brandon of Coleman, MI and Brittany (Eric) Carson of Hesperia, MI; two brothers, Sam (Betsy) Brandon of Clare, MI and Andrew (Tiffany) Brandon of Coleman, MI and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Gavin was a member of St. Aloysius Church. He was a member of Warren Masonic Lodge #427 and was also a member of the Ansar Shrine. He was a union welder and pipefitter with Local #85 in Saginaw, MI.

Visitation: 11 am – 1 pm, Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Reverend Clint Honkomp, O.P. officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Chase Bank for the Brandon children’s educational fund.
