Gale Diane Tedrow, 74, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Scotch Grove, died Wednesday. Sept. 28, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 7 at The Sill Barn, Camp Courageous, 12007 190th St., Monticello.

Gales is survived by her children, Kirk (Gretchen) Tedrow, Durham, N.C.; brother, Tim (Pat) Kuhns, Fort Myers, Fla.; sister, Laurel (Phil) Lewis, West Branch; mother, Georgia Kuhns; and grandchildren, Lui Brown, Jonah Brown, Avery Tedrow and Finley Tedrow. She was preceded in death by her father, Galen Kuhns.

Gale grew up in Scotch Grove. She graduated from Monticello High School in1966 and received and Associate of Arts degree from San Joaquin Delta College in 1993. She lived in Monticello, Stockton, Calif., and Cedar Rapids. She worked in the insurance industry for many years, including at Aegon in Cedar Rapids until she retired in 2016. She loved spending time with her family and four grandchildren.
