Frank Dewayne Blakely, also known as “Dewayne” went to his heavenly home on Monday January 9, 2023 at the age 65.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Biggers Funeral Chapel
Visitation: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January prior to Memorial Service.
Dewayne was born June 4, 1957 in Canyon, Texas to James Daniel Blakely Jr. and Dorthie Dell Luster. He was the 2nd oldest child of five. He attended Brewer High School in White Settlement, Texas.
Dewayne was a dedicated employee of Hinderliter/Bodycote Heat Treat for over 40 years. During this time, he acquired numerous friends and co- workers that truly admired him. He was a straight shooter but was famous for his pranks. His favorite pastimes were working on old cars and trucks, going to car shows, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends. He met the love of his life Mary Ann Brown, they were happily married for 31 years and had four children between the two of them. His most cherished moments would be spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Dewayne was preceded in death by his father, James Daniel Blakely, Jr. and his brother, Wade Blakely.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary Ann Blakely; his children, Christopher Blakely of Vernon, Tiffany Blakely of Vernon, Michael Markham of California, Nicholas Markham of Sherman; grandchildren, Kiley Bryant of Vernon, Kearstin Karr of Vernon, Daniel Blakely of Vernon, Faith Markham, Chloe Markham, Lilly Markham, Paisley Markham, Aiden Markham, and Marianna Markham great-grandchildren, Jayden and Kaizen Bryant, Gideon Blakely; sisters and brothers, Pam Rutledge, Jack Blakely, Earl Allen, Sharon Dunson, and David Allen.
