Floyd Hopper

Floyd Hopper, 83, of Granbury, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021.  Services will be held at a later date.

Floyd was born on December 30, 1937 in Granbury, Texas to Dee and Florence Hopper.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  He worked as a diesel mechanic and was a dedicated employee.

Floyd was not a man with great wealth or many words.  He reached out to others most often by fixing things and he was very gifted at fixing things.

Floyd was a loving father and grandfather.  He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, two brothers, two grandsons and 3 great grandsons.

Floyd is survived by his daughters: Debi Gumpert and husband Robert of Granbury, Pam Stoddard and husband John of Larkspur, Colorado, and Tammie Allen, of Granbury, 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brother, Calvin Hopper and wife Terry of Granbury and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
