Fanny Helen Pappas, 89, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Theodore. Loving mother to Lil, Louis, Thomas and Sister Chrysostom (Mary). Proud YiaYai to Nicholas and Joseph Pappas. Cherished sister of the late Catherine (Thomas) Garepis, Steve (Ann) Stevens, and Jeff Stevens. Daughter of the late Thomas and Marianthi Stevens. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews who cherished her dearly. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Fanny was a light that will shine on forever in the hearts of those who knew her. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 3-8pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago IL 60646. Family and friends will meet at 10am on Friday, July 30 at Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 1401 Wagner Rd, Glenview, IL 60025 for a funeral service. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial donations in Fanny’s name can be made to Sts.
