Fannie Griffin Corn
Fannie passed away July 15, 2021, at Pardee Hospital after a short period of declining health.
Fannie was an accomplished seamstress who worked for many local businesses early on in her life. She then dedicated herself to providing for her family and friends. She loved tending her flower gardens and caring for her wildlife and pets.
Fannie was born to John K. Griffin and Pansy Green Griffin in Polk County, N.C. She attended Etowah High School and graduated with the first class of West Henderson High School.
She was predeceased by her husband Ray Eugene Corn, and three sisters, Minnie Lou Vaughn, Louise Murphy, and Betty Eubanks.
She is survived by her three children, Brian Corn (Jennifer), Mark Corn (Kathy), and Kathy Cagle (Carl), and four grandchildren, Brandon Cagle, Seth Corn, Rily Corn, and Alex Corn.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Fannie’s name to Four Seasons Hospice.
