Eva-Jeanne “EJ” Bonar, 91, passed away August 30, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10am at Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury, Texas.

Eva-Jeanne was born September 1, 1929 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Curby and Agatha Smith. Eva-Jeanne liked to visit with people and loved fellowshipping at church. She was a long-time member of Lakeside Baptist Church. She was fun loving, out-going, honest and direct lady. She loved to play cards. She enjoyed traveling by car or motorcycle and loved eating out. She never met a stranger.

Eva-Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents: CurbyAndrew Smith of Texas City, Texas and Agatha Olive Smith, husband: Lloyd Bonar, and son: Richard Lloyd Bonar.

Eva-Jeanne is survived by her daughters: C.A. “Andie” Piehland husband Milton and Paige Myers and husband Bryan; grandchildren: Jennifer Black and husband Eric, Curby Andrew Piehl and wife Tiffani, Kevin Kulberg Piehl, Daniel Kulberg, and Amber Harper: 4 great grandchildren: Hannah Black, Nathaniel Black, Penelope Piehl, William Piehl; great-great grandson: “Xi”; cousins and other extended family.

As requested, please wear a mask to the graveside service and please avoid wearing any type of fragrances.

In lieu of flowers, please honor EJ by donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or to National Cancer Society.
