Eugenia Economos

Eugenia Economos, nee Voutiritsas, age 85 of Lake Zurich and formerly of Greece, passed away April 17, 2022 surrounded by her children. Beloved wife of the late Spiros Economos. Devoted mother of Dr. Dean (Dr. Donna) Economos, Rebecca (Steven) Johnson, and Patty (John) Pirovano. Loving Yiayia to Geena, Spyridon, Alexandra, Joseph, Alexis, and Christopher. Dear sister and aunt of many. A woman of faith, Eugenia was a long-time steward and choir member of her beloved St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church. A visitation will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S Roselle Rd, Palatine, IL from 11:00am-12:00pm. A funeral service will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington IL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Autism Speaks. https://www.autismspeaks.org/upper-midwest May her memory be eternal.
