Elena Rodriguez, age 63 of Plano, IL passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born on July 20, 1958 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Teofilo and Felipa (Camareno) Rodriguez.
Elena attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Plano, IL. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Elena is survived by her children, Edward (Kari) Rodriguez of Plainfield, IL, Monique (William Early) Marcial of Plano, IL, Erica Rios of Sandwich, IL, Davina (fiancé Nathan Ortega) Rios of Sandwich, IL, Jorge Rios of Plano, IL and Angelique Rios of Sandwich, IL; her twelve grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; her six siblings; also her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter and seven siblings.
A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street in Plano, IL. Interment will be private.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Funeral Home in Plano, IL.
