Eileen M. Turrin

Eileen M. Turrin, 93, of New Philadelphia, was welcomed into heaven and reunited with her family on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, following a period of declining health.

Born in New Rumley, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Frances L. (Walker) Couch and had retired from the former Pepsi Bottling Company at New Philadelphia where she had worked as a Line Inspector.

Eileen had attended the First Church of God at New Philadelphia and was a member of the Women of the Church of God for many years. To say family was important to Eileen would be an understatement. She spent her life loving and caring for her children, grandchildren, her siblings and even her parents as they aged.

Eileen is survived by her four grandchildren, David Keller, Michelle Curry, Jessica Rugh and Brooke Jasper.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was reunited with her two children, Sherry Lynn Paris, and Randy Lee Torch; her sister and best friend, Veda Engledinger and her two brothers, Dale and Gary Couch.

In keeping with her wishes, Eileen is to be cremated through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia and a graveside service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 1:30 PM in East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia with Pastor Jim Wallick officiating.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Dennison Church of God, 403 North Third Street, Dennison, Ohio 44621.
