I had lunch with “Dewey” decades ago on Newport Blvd at a restaurant he really liked. After all these yrs I can’t recall what the topic was. But I was an OTC trader for yrs for Dean Witter and then Blalack/Wells and Mitchum Jones and Templeton in LA. The latter was 1972 and I sat next to his brother Jack Jr who was a genius and should have been a college professor. The stock mkt at that time opened at 7a.m. in LA and Jack did the whole NY crossword puzzle in the five min before the mkt opened. He was a nice gentleman and lost touch. Dewey’s dad was Jack Heck Sr who was one of the most respected OTC trades in the LA trading community. RIP Dewey, you had a very interesting life I understand.
