Donna (Humphrey) Jacobs, 86, of Anamosa, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at UnityPoint Health Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa, where family will greet friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
Donna was born on September 22, 1937, in Oregon, where she grew up before moving to Marion and most recently Monticello and Anamosa. On July 3, 1953, she was united in marriage to Wilbur Jacobs and spent 66 anniversaries together until his passing in 2019.
Donna enjoyed her friends, playing cards, traveling, camping, wintering in Arizona or Texas, but especially her family. She loved to go to her children’s, grandchildren’s, and great-grandchildren’s activities over the past many years. Donna will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Donna is survived and lovingly remembered by her son, Mike (Carol); daughter, Shelly; two grandsons, and their families, Dan, Jenny, Gage, and Kendra, Adam, Jill, Camden, and Colven; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Bob) Tesdahl, and Joy (Steve) Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur Jacobs; brother, Jim (Phyllis) Humphrey; sister, Helen (Dean) Stagner; and brother-in-law, Harold (Rosemary) Jacobs.
