Donald Jeffrey (“Jeff”) Harper, Age 73, of North Liberty, IA, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023.

There will be a graveside funeral service and interment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery – Garden of Mt. Moriah on May 20, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors May 20, 2023, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at The Flamingo Restaurant, 1211 Ellis Blvd NW, Cedar Rapids.

Jeff was born on June 28, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, IA. He is the son of the late Donald A. and Joan (Jeffrey) Harper. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Jeff worked many years at the family business, Harper’s Marine City, then later as a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker before retiring. Jeff loved fast boats, fast cars and music. He was happiest when on the water anywhere.

Jeff is survived by his children, Jody (John) Alderman, of Boulder, CO, Jami Harper, of Boulder, CO, and Bryan Harper of Palo, IA; his grandchildren, Allison, Jacob, Avery, Jazmyn, Jaxson, Jaezen, Beckham, and Declan; his great-grandson, Xia; his siblings, Barbara (Loren) Cohen, of Cincinnati, OH, Susan Harper, of Cincinnati, OH, and David Harper, of Swisher, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
