Donald George Meuret
Donald George Meuret, age 81 of Sandwich, IL passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Pavilion on Main in Sandwich, IL. He was born on December 9, 1941 in Chicago, IL the son of George and Irene Meuret.
Don became a member of the Bensonville Masonic Lodge NO. 1159 in 1985, in Bensonville, IL. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Don is survived by his children, Cynthia Tourgee of FL, Julie Wingad of WI and Mark Meuret of WI; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and his dear friend, Brenda Moorehead of Somonauk, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Irene Meuret; also several siblings.
A Masonic Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1275 South Countyline Road, Sandwich, IL.
