Dicie Hyder Cole

Dicie Hyder Cole, 74, of Hendersonville unexpectedly passed away Friday, June 4, 2021,at her residence.  She was predeceased by her parents Horace Hyder, Virigina Ruth Jones; stepfather Dewitt Jones; a sister, Linda Beddingfield and a son, Jimmy Dean Cole.

A native of Haywood County, Dicie made Hendersonville her home as an adult; she worked for Southern Agriculture for many years, as well at General Electric as an operator and a clerk at the Marathon on Spartanburg Highway. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church of Tuxedo. Dicie will be dearly missed by all.

Left to cherish Dicie’s memory are her children Chris Cole and wife Holly; Kimberley Roberts; and grandchildren Sarah Roberts, Clayton Cole (Hannah) and Tyler Cole (Megan).

A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at the Mountain View Baptist Church; 458 Mountain View Church Rd, Zirconia, NC 28790; with Rev. Sam Beddingfield officiating. A visitation will be held after the memorial service.
