David William McConathy
David William McConathy, age 68, of Yorkville, IL passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 03, 2023 at his home. He was born on April 20, 1955 in Chicago, IL the son of Howard and Dorothy (Drange) McConathy.
David was united in marriage on March 26, 1982 to Frances Kunis and they spent the next 43 years together. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed.
David is survived by his wife, Frances McConathy of Yorkville, IL; his children, Leslie (Thomas) Sellers of Brownsburg, IN and Matthew (fiancé, Kathleen Ouradnik) McConathy of Glen Ellyn; his three granddaughters, Hailey, Allison, Abigail; also his sister, Patti DeWier of Dyer, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Dorothy McConathy; his son, Patrick McConathy; as well as his brother, Tom McConathy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
