David Louis Caesar

David Louis Caesar, 81, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday; June 22, 2021, at his home in Granbury. He was born March 19, 1940, to Lester Louis and Mildred Lucille Slider Caesar in Fort Worth, Texas where he was raised and attended school. David served in the United States Army during the 1960’s in Japan and Korea. He was a very faithful employee of General Motors Corporation in Arlington, Texas for over 30 years until he retired at the age of 55 in 1995.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Larry James Caesar.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nickie Lynn Craig Caesar; son, Steven Craig Caesar, and wife Dawn Marie; granddaughter, Breayn Lee Caesar; grandson, Dalton Drake Caesar, and wife Callie Angelica Caesar; and grandson, Cassiel Drake Caesar; In-Laws, Nancy and Jim Reed and their children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm on Friday; June 25, 2021, at Martins Funeral Home, 100 S. Morgan Street in Granbury, TX. 76048.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm. Saturday; June 26, 2021, at Grace Bible Church, 201 E. Clifton Street at Hwy. 377-E in Granbury.
Graveside services and burial with Military Honors will be held at 11am. Thursday; July 1, 2021, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas, Texas 75211. Services under the direction of Martins Funeral Home in Granbury.
The family wishes to thank Encompass Home Health and Hospice for their excellent care of David throughout 2019-2021, especially Brad, Teresa, Sharon, and Michelle. God Bless You All!
