David Lee Scott, 72, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Vinton, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022. A Celebration of Life gathering at Chrome Horse Saloon, 1201 Third St. SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52401, on Oct. 30 from 4 to 8 p.m.

David is survived by his wife, Elaine (Shively) Scott; children, Heather (Scott) Hradek and Brett Scott (James Johnson); brother, Butch Scott; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Beryl Scott; mother, Dorothy (Dulin) Scott; and sister, Edith Goodell.

David was an army veteran, retired printer pressman and supervisor.
