Daniel Sean Nash, Rtd. Lt. Colonel USAF, 54, passed away on June 22, 2021. Proud father of Conor, Ryan and Olivia Nash. Loving son of Catherine, nee Pufall, and the late Francis. Cherished brother of Brendan (Laura), Mairin (Jeff) Gradek, and William (Anne). Doting uncle to Brody, Graham, Nolan, Clara, Evelyn, Oliver and Andre. He will be missed by many friends and family. Daniel was commissioned in the Air Force in 1991 and first flew a F-111 fighter bomber during the second Gulf War. He then flew a F-15 during Operation Iraqi Freedom until his retirement from the Air Force in 2000. Daniel then transition to the Air National Guard and was one of the pilots that helped to track down the hijacked planes on 9/11. During his time in the Air National Guard Daniel also served as a F-15 instructor in Okinawa, Japan. He was a true American hero always serving his country. Daniel retired from the Air National Guard in 2016. He loved to fly, woodworking and painting. Services are pending.
