Damon Lamont Winbush Jr.

Damon L. Winbush Jr., was born on July 28, 1988 in Cleveland, Ohio. Damon was the son of Melanie R. Youngblood and Damon L. Winbush Sr.

Damon grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and attended the Cleveland Heights -University Heights School System.

Damon was member of Great Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. He confessed and received the Lord as his personal Savior in 2002 at the age of 13 years old. In February of 2013, Damon rededicated his life to the Lord. He loved being in Church, where he also, sung in the choir (“a little bit”).

Damon was pursuing his passion for music. He wrote and produced the song “N…..’s Hate to See You Up. And Love to See You Down.” He also, was an avid basketball player, and Urban Artist.

Damon leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Melanie R. Youngblood. Two sons: Matthew and Damion; four daughters: Da’moni, Desiree, Kendall, and Diana. Two great-grandmothers and two special cousins De’Andre and Kahlil. He leaves behind a host of great uncles, great aunts, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

Damon was preceded in death by two sons: Damon I and Damon II. Treasured and loved Grandmother Dora Youngblood and Grandfather’s, O.B. Pruitt Jr., and Sherman Stewart.
