Curtis A. Spears, 34, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2021. He was born in Akron, Ohio to his loving parents, John C. Cooper and Stephanie Spears on November 3, 1986. His grandmother affectionately called him “Squirt”.
Curtis “Squirt” Spears attended Central Hower High School. He later took on an interest in real estate. He was most known for being family-oriented, a phenomenal father, and his solidarity. He was a courageous man who loved extremely hard and wanted the best for everyone. He bonded with his daughter, Sa’Riyah; who was the apple of his eye. Through music, YouTube, and pranking, his sense of humor was one of a kind. His loud, lovable laugh could illuminate any room and put a smile on any face. Curtis had a fascination for city skylines, making sure to know all the geographical info of the city, also for cars, and jewelry. He was an immaculate dresser who was always stylish and on point, causing you to take a second look; “Got to See the Whole Outfit.”
He was preceded in death by his father, John C. Cooper; grandmother, Lucy Spears; best friends, Ronnie “2Lu” Travis and Curtis “Kiddo” Meadows.
He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Stephanie Spears, the heartbeat of his existence, Sa’Riyah So’lai Spears; special significant other, Timiya Moore; sisters, Crystal Spears and Portia Spears; brothers, Darshon (Jonica) Cooper, Nicholas Spears, Jon (Jennifer) McCloude; loving niece, Norchelle Spears; special nephew, Chance Wyatt; aunts, LaQuita (Shawn) Johnson and LaTonya Spears; uncle, Andre Spears; special friends, Greg, Jonez, Jonell, Perk, Nan, Marcus “Cheese” and Ern; special cousins, Marquise Barnhart, Gary Beavers, and Deshannon Lidge; godchildren, Ronni and C’Yair, and a host of other family members and friends.
